Ready to do your part for the community and environment and have a smashing good time? Head down to Kreta Ayer Square in Chinatown for Market4Good organised by Habitat for Humanity Singapore. Habitat for Humanity is part of an international housing charity with a mission to eradicate housing poverty. It is also involved in home-cleaning and litter-picking across housing estates.
Come down for a little retail therapy and support local business and social enterprises like Bark A Tree, E & S Blessings, Threads of Courage, Hello Flowers!, Bakery Wellness, Pure Juice and Yufina the portrait artist. Head to the Habitat Village to find out more about what Habitat Singapore does regionally and locally and even pitch in to help build a life-sized Habitat house. If you’re interested in a more interactive experience, pop on one of the VR headsets and experience a simulation of Habitat for Humanity’s local house-cleaning programme – beware the bugs!
