Support Tanglin Mall this March by donating your reusable bags and joining its inaugural coastal walk in April!
Earth Day might be a month away, but that doesn’t mean you’ve got to wait to do your bit for the planet, especially if you’ve found yourself hoarding tons of reusable bags after each shopping trip with the tykes. Here’s an easy-peasy, eco-friendly solution that’ll get those bags off your hands: bring your reusable bags down to our favourite family hangout, Tanglin Mall! From 13 to 22 March, go green by donating your reusable bags into the bins provided by Bring Your Own (BYO) Singapore. And you and the whole family can also play a part in helping save the planet by signing up for the inaugural coastal clean-up walk with Nature Society (Singapore). Interested? Read on for more deets on how you and the family can help!
How to donate your reusable bags at Tanglin Mall
Gathered all the reusable bags from your home? Great! Now all you need to do is bring them down to BYO’s bin on Level 2 to drop off your donation. The best part? You just need to exchange at least one bag to redeem 1,000 Great V-aap points (worth $5) to spend in the mall from 13 to 22 March (limited to one redemption)! If you don’t have any reusable bags but want to snag a Tanglin Mall non-woven bags like the rest of the cool mums, all you need to do is spend any amount in a single receipt to redeem one for yourself – it’s as simple as A-B-C.
Here’s a hot tip: BYO’s bin will be in Tanglin Mall till 30 June, so you can always donate your bags long after the initiative is over. Not only is it a great way to champion sustainability as a family, but it’s also an opportunity to educate the kids in reducing waste. Plus, what’s better than banding together as a community to save the earth?
And, if you can’t help but use a plastic bag or two on your trip at the mall, proceeds from the cost of these plastic bags purchased at participating shops will be donated to the Nature Society for their conservation projects in Singapore. In turn, you could recycle those bags and leave your house clutter-free. Score!
What’s more, enjoy all-night FREE parking when you enter Tanglin Mall between 6pm to 8pm from Mondays to Thursdays (excluding Public Holidays)! Terms and conditions apply.
