Don’t miss your final chance for an experience like no other at the carnival! Still plenty of games, rides, delectable cuisine and performances to be enjoyed as we enter the final week.
If you’re looking for more ways to spend an exciting weekend in Singapore with the fam, search no more. It’s time to go charging back into the Marina Bay Carnival for another round of rides, fun and games! We’ve sussed out all the exhilarating highlights with this handy guide, so now’s the perfect time to bring the ‘lil ones along….
Rides for everyone, tall or small
While kidults are perfectly happy swinging at a gravity-defying 35m on the scenic Star Flyer or zooming by on the heart-stopping 55m-tall Mach 5, there are plenty of options that are just as fun for the kiddos. The carnival features over 40 rides for all ages (min. height 1.1m), from the tinies to the tallies. Kids can check out the Chairs O’ Plane for the ultimate swing experience, sail through the air on Dumbos and zip down tracks on the Apple Coaster. If they prefer to stay on solid ground, they can bump their way through Dodgems or take a spin on an old-fashioned carousel, Gallopers.
Go games-hopping through all 30 stalls…
With over one million adorable plush toys for the picking, you’ve got to plan smart to win big. Older kids will love sporty games like Hot Shot and Soccer, while tots can try their luck at Ping Pong Roll Down and Catch a Fish. Expect to step in and put your own skills to the test at Ring Toss and Knock Down for a shot at winning the grand prize!
And fairground faves
As dinnertime creeps closer, fuel up with a feast from delicious food stalls. There’s no way you’ll go hungry with such a wide variety available, from local delights to gourmet grub. Pack that picnic basket full of burgers, churros, fries and milk tea, and chill out on one of the benches as the local bands serenade you into a food coma. You can jump back into the fun by burning calories at the mass workouts or hop back on an adrenaline-pumping ride – kid-style.
Mark your calendars
We’re pretty sure that everyone’s feeling the Easter spirit – even all the way down at the Marina Bay Carnival. Stick around after the sun sets and see them transform into magical displays of light lit by LEDs. Also, check out the carnival at Promontory with GastroBeats, held in conjunction with i Light Marina Bay. Expect new games stations awash in neon lights, ecocraft workshops and the psychedelic ILLUMI FEST RUN open to those aged 13 and up!
