SG Enable returns with its third edition of the Enabling Lives Festival, an annual event championing disability inclusion in Singapore. The annual event is held in conjunction with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and will be held in various locations across Singapore.
The four-day festival will run from 30 November to 3 December 2023. It is set to be the largest edition held at nine locations across Singapore, with over 54 local and international partners showcasing their collaborative efforts of persons with disabilities and their caregivers. This includes local inclusive businesses, social enterprises and non-profit organisations.
The event showcases sensory installations and immersive art and storytelling experiences led by artists with disabilities, creating a unique and enriching atmosphere. There will also be a curated food street showcasing inclusive local F&B businesses such as Don8uri, MINDS, and Ashraf Café.
Musical performances by talented musicians with disabilities will provide a delightful backdrop to the festivities. For those looking to support artisanal works, the i’mable Gift Market boasts 27 participating makers showcasing and selling creations by individuals with disabilities.
Additionally, the Mediacorp Celebrities Charity Fair offers a chance to meet favourite Mediacorp artists, with proceeds from the sale of their pre-loved items and handmade creations directed towards the Goh Chok Tong Enable Fund, supporting the aspirations of persons with disabilities.
