Mini Holiday Camp: Digital Art
Everyone who’s been to ArtScience Museum can attest to all the fun to be had at the Future World: Where Art Meets Science exhibit. This June, your budding artists will get to venture into the world of art and technology! Through this half-day mini-camp, they’ll be introduced to the world of programming and learn more about the basic concepts of coding. Plus, they’ll get to go on a special tour of Future World: Where Art Meets Science, where they’ll learn new ways to engage with the digital artworks!
When: 22 Jun (Tuesday), 2.30pm – 5pm, 29 Jun (Tuesday), 2.30pm – 5pm, 5 Jul (Monday), 10.15am – 12.45pm, 19 Jul (Monday), 2.30pm – 5pm, 29 Jul (Thursday), 10.15am – 12.45pm

Tote Bag Printing with Tell Your Children
The folks behind the super cool murals you’ve seen around town, Tell Your Children, are holding a silkscreen printing workshop this summer. You’ll learn the processes and techniques of silkscreen printing and make your own character. At the end of the workshop, you can take your own stylised tote bag home!
When: 18 June (Friday), 6pm – 7pm and 16 July (Friday), 6pm – 7pm
Cost: $15 per participant. Up to 10 participants on a first-come, first-served basis

Film Screenings: Wondrous Worlds
Free film screening alert! This summer holiday, ArtScience Museum presents Wondrous Worlds, a delightful selection of films that illuminates the rich inner worlds and imaginations of children and young people. Find out how these young protagonists’ turn their experiences into extraordinary adventures.

ABCs of Being Bold with Colours!
Learn how different tints can be used as a meditating tool to show our true colours with ArtScience Museum’s Education Specialist, Radhiah!

ABCs of Composing with Haiku
Relax and enjoy the calm that haikus bring through this special how-to haiku session with ArtScience Museum’s Education Specialist, Diona and local poet, Loh Guan Liang. Loh Guan Liang is the author of two poetry collections, one of which was shortlisted for the Singapore Literature Prize in 2018.

G.R.E.A.T Book Club
Bookworms will love this lively book club discussion on the impact of technology on society. The G.R.E.A.T Book Club will discuss TIN by Padraig Kenny.
The session will be introduced and facilitated by Zara Khanna, founder of the G.R.E.A.T. Club and a strong believer in the role that technology and the arts can play together in improving the world.
