Porta, Park Hotel Clarke Quay
Cor, we loved this festive menu, although we’d recommend it for either parents with older kids… unless your young ‘uns have got a taste for lobster of course! Inspired by winter favourites and comfort food with classic European flavours, the meal commences with pan-seared scallops served in vichyssoise, followed by lobster thermidor. Next up is your choice of either black cod with beans, chorizo and tomato cream sauce, or melt-in-your-mouth beef tenderloin, before a deconstructed red-velvet-esque Christmas cake brings the evening to a jolly end. Even better: an extra $50 per person gives you a selection of Cattier Champagne to be paired with the evening’s dishes. Children’s menu and cutlery are available – just check in with the service team for further assistance. Also recommended at Park Hotel Clarke Quay: Cocobolo Poolside Bar + Grill’s festive buffet. So many noms!
