Great food, an amazing swimming pool, a cool kids club and chilled out vibes in lush surrounds… here’s why The British Club is a membership worth signing up for!
Getting the family together during the weekends can be quite the challenge, especially when you’ve got kids enrolled in different activities and it’s your only time to get some me-time in. But what if we said you could get all that done in one place? Yup, we’ve found the perfect spot for the whole family, tucked away on a hilltop in verdant Bukit Timah. Say hello to The British Club, your new go-to spot for a chilled out family weekend. Here’s why we’re big fans…
The British Club: a family membership worth signing up for
It’s super kid-friendly
The club spans an area of 5,900 square meters, which means lots of room for the kiddos to run around in! It’s also got a playcentre for kids aged seven and below, so you can treat yourself to a peaceful lunch or gym sesh while the little ones are busy.
The older kids can head to The Hangout, where there’s a PS5, doodle wall and an array of boardgames. When they’re done playing indoors, join them for a splashing good time at the club’s swimming pool, which has a kiddie area and water slide to boot!
Awesome sports facilities to get your workout on
Earn your Sunday brunch by burning off some calories at any of The British Club’s facilities. For those of us who prefer to keep it indoors, there’s a fully equipped gym and personal trainers on hand to keep us on track. Tennis aficionados will love the newly resurfaced tennis courts too. The British Club offers an array of sports classes and has sections for many different sports so there’s always something to choose from. Another cool bonus? It’s got a sports bar restaurant and alfresco dining area, which makes relaxing post-workout soooo much easier. Here’s our hot tip: book a spa session for the ultimate post-workout treat.
Delish food
If there’s one other thing that The British Club excels at (beyond the superb facilities), it’s their food. The Verandah Café offers British favourites, local stir fry dishes and some of the best Indian food on the island. We also hear the pizzas are pretty darn delish — they’re made by an Italian chef and cooked in a brick oven that was specially shipped from Italy! The G&Ts at The Mountbatten Bar and Grill are also TDF. Don’t forget to order a dry-aged steak to go with it! And yes, you can totally order takeaway!
So what are you waiting for? Sign up at The British Club for some quality time with the fam !
