Gardens by the Bay’s newest floral display, “Begonia Brilliance” at the Flower Dome is bursting with more than 600 begonias in various shades of red, pink, orange and yellow. Marvel the unusually large begonia blooms, measuring between 13 -16 cm across, these blooms are specially grown by the in-house Gardens by the Bay’s Research and Horticulture team.
Try to spot all 14 flowering begonia varieties like the Begonia Prima Donna Blush and Begonia Trumpet Orange. These gorgeous begonia blooms are complemented by other varieties of flowering begonias from Europe and Malaysia. In all, more than 20,000 begonia plants of more than 50 varieties have been brought in for the floral display and have been arranged to create an imaginary underwater realm.
