This Mother’s Day, Da Paolo offers the perfect opportunity to show love and appreciation to mummy dearest with the new Seasonal Menu at Da Paolo Pizza Bar, featuring all-new a la carte specials inspired by the vibrant Mediterranean. From 1 to 31 May 2023, for both lunch and dinner, treat Mum to a hearty yet sophisticated meal savouring delightful seafood creations that brim with bright flavours reminiscent of the Mediterranean coast.
The seasonal menu has items like the artichoke & Cantabrian anchovy pizza ($45+), a pizza that combines smooth artichoke purée and Cantabrian anchovies, with toppings of salsa verde, sliced artichokes, caramelised balsamic onions, black olives, and more. The cuttlefish squid ink croquettes ($18+) features creamy morsels of cuttlefish and squid ink, panko-crumbed and deep-fried till crisp, topped with refreshing housemade dill aioli. The Hokkaido scallop ($28+) offers seared Hokkaido scallops atop velvety cauliflower puree crowned with savoury pops of ikura and crunchy pickled cauliflower. The smoked sardine Tagliolini ($35+) showcases Da Paolo’s squid ink tagliolini tossed in two complementary sauces – a savoury bagna cauda (anchovy garlic sauce) and subtly sweet piquillo (Spanish pepper sauce), finished with briny and umami-laden slices of smoked sardines. Last but not least, the pistachio & mascarpone chiffon ($20+) presents pistachios in three ways – a delicate pistachio sponge, pistachio gelato, and crumbled pistachios.
