2. Sit with your inner self at The Moon

Get the kids to wind down at the cosy bookstore and cafe, The Moon in Chinatown. Uz Afzal will be guiding children through fun and easy-to-follow mindfulness exercises from her illustrated book, Mindfulness for Children. Kids will get to find their centre through activities like sun dancing, balloon breathing, stretching and journaling. Slots are limited to five kids so book your slot quick! 3. Be inspired at the Visually Impaired Sports Awareness Carnival 2019

This five day carnival kicks off at Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped and continues on the 19th, 20th, 24th and 26th at locations across Singapore. Learn about how individuals can conquer these challenges through training, support and guidance and get to meet Singapore’s very own team of para-athletes. Kids will even get to try visually impaired sports like ten-pin bowling, tandem cycling, goal ball, guided run and laser shooting.

4. Visit a farmer’s market

SPRMRKT Cluny Court is celebrating summer with a whole line-up of activities for all ages! Drop by the Farmers’ Market and bakery to pick up fresh produce and baked goods, attend a live cooking demonstration by Beyond Meat and enjoy tunes from a live DJ. The kids will get their fair share of fun activities, including making a Father’s Day card, creating their very own Putty Pal, and making their own pasta from scratch! 5. Paint the town PINK!

It’s Pride Month and the folks over at fam-friendly Open Farm Community are throwing a bash! 6. Dream up your perfect Singapore

7. Dance with Mermaids

Singapore’s First Mermaid, Syrena is swimming over to HomeTeamNS Bukit Batok Swimming Pool for a special live performance. Grab your rashies and dive in to take part in fun mermaid-themed activities, try on a fin and take a wefie with a real mermaid!

8. Catch em all at Sentosa

Pokemon trainers can head to Sentosa for a real Pokemon party. Featuring over 400 Alola region Pokemon, expect games, meet and greet sessions, inflatables, a ball pit, movie screenings and more. Plus, catch the cutest parade of Pikachus as they march in to greet everyone at 8.15pm on alternate days from 16 to 30 June.

9. Check out the newly opened Kiztopia!

Escape the heat by ducking into a brand new play centre opening this Saturday! Last Friday, we checked out all 18 of Kiztopia’s play areas and it does not disappoint. Relax at the cafe or one of the many seating areas while the kids wear themselves out in pretend play areas, a train ride, bouncy castle, slides galore, trampolines, mini-rock climbing walls, ball pits and ninja warrior obstacle course. There’s even a soft play area for the tots, complete with age-appropriate playground and ball pit!
