We’re in for an Egg-citing Easter long weekend! We’ve got the lowdown on all the fun Easter brunches, egg hunts, and fam-friendly events – see the links below. We’ll also be celebrating the colourful Holi Festival on Sentosa. Speaking of Sentosa, there is so much happening at the State of Fun at the moment! Enter the world of Harry Potter at the Forbidden Forest Experience and see all of the movies for free at beach, on the big screen! 2. Celebrate Easter! Good Friday and Easter (29 March [Public Holiday] to 1 April 2024)
Good Friday and Easter marks the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and is the most important time in the Christian calendar. Why not mark this time with a hot cross bun, a fun Easter brunch or Easter Egg hunt with the kiddos? 4. Storytelling sessions, drama performances and make-your-own activity book at ACM!
31 March 2024, 11am – 3pm
Head to the Asian Civilisations Museum this weekend and explore objects with meaningful stories through an interactive drama performance and a storytelling session. Kiddos can then tell their own stories by making their very own activity book! Check the website for session times.
5. NEW: Harry Potter-mania is taking over Singapore, with brand new attractions and FREE screenings of the Harry Potter film series
Sentosa is in full Harry Potter mode, with the announcement of a brand new exhibition coming to Resorts World Sentosa this year! 6. Join in World Autism Awareness Day at the Science Centre Singapore with FREE activities
28 – 31 March 2024
Celebrate diversity and inclusion at the Science Centre Singapore this weekend! There’s a whole programme of fun and meaningful activities planned, and lots of them are free. Workshops led by talented people with disabilities will guide you through unique experiences to deepen our understanding. There’ll also be pop-up stations, including snacks by Project Dignity, as well as a gift market with beautiful items created by people with disabilities. Make sure you visit KidsSTOP to hear a storytelling session by Nadia, who has Autism, take part in a fidget bead making workshop!
7. Trade in old for new at the first-ever Decathlon Circular Bazaar

This weekend marks the very first Decathlon Circular Bazaar, featuring a variety of sports events, booths, and the innovative BuyBack program, where you can swap your old sporting goods for gift vouchers! It’s not just sporting equipment that you can trade in. Thrift some clothes or sell your pre-loved apparel and walk away with Decathlon gift cards. Naruto: The Gallery will showcase six areas delving into the world of manga artist Masashi Kishimoto. Discover the evolution of the Naruto series, with dioramas of iconic scenes, photo displays and character profiles. There’s also limited edition exclusive merchandise, a fun photo booth, and even a pop up Naruto: The Gallery Cafe with a specially designed menu of dishes from the anime series!
9. FREE: Magic hour concert with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra
All are welcome to come and sit under stars and be entranced by the beauty of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO). Magic Hour is an exclusive world-class musical performance held bi-monthly by the SSO specially for the community. 10. NEW! Sakura: Blossom into the Night now open at Gardens by the Bay!
Want to immerse yourself in Japan, without a plane ride? Pay a visit to Gardens by the Bay this March, and experience Japanese culture with a selection of performances and demonstrations happening in partnership with the Japan Creative Centre (JCC). From tea ceremonies to Japanese dance and martial arts displays, the highlight of this event is the crowd favourite floral display, Sakura: blossom into the night. Make a wish upon the 1,000 paper cranes hanging from the ceiling, see the Torii traditional Japanese gate, and make sure you visit at night to see the whimsical light projections, creating a dazzling display under the darkened sky – check out what went down when we visited on opening day!

11. Baby Shark! Toddlers will love Pinkfong and Baby Shark’s Playhouse at Marina Square
Now open, until 31 March 2024
Remember the super fun Pinkfong’s World Adventure that came to Singapore last year? Get ready for more fun at Pinkfong and Baby Shark’s Payhouse, now open at Let’s Play on Level 3 at Marina Square! We can’t wait to explore this with our toddlers – keep an eye on our Instagram for all the fun.
12. Children’s Biennale at the National Gallery ends on 31 March
This year’s Biennale features 11 new immersive artworks under the theme ‘Let’s Make a Better Place’. Families are invited to explore these artworks and uncover the four values that they represent: care, respect, imagination, and collaboration. Aside from these, there’s a game called ‘A Curious Connection’ that kids can explore. Kids can also collect stamps after visiting the artworks on My Biennale Buddy, a new guidebook, and redeem a freebie when they’ve collected all ten stamps! Two toddler-friendly artworks are also available.

13. Splashtopia: Bouncy castle water play in Sentosa
This is your last chance to have a splashing good time at Splashtopia on Sentosa! 16. NEW: Tropical Play Forest at Changi Airport

Singapore is possibly the only country where we’d want to hang out at the airport, even if we’re not catching a plane. Now, you can yet another reason to why Changi is the best airport in the world, with the opening of the Tropical Play Forest at the Terminal 3 Departure Hall! Kiddos will love climbing, bouncing and swinging their way around like the true little monkeys they are. Don’t forget to get creative at the Basement 2 photo spots. If you visit the Candy Carnival at the T3 Arrival Hall, you’ll have a chance to win fun prizes.

17. Our Muslim friends are marking Ramadan (10 March – 9 April 2024) and Hari Raya Aidilfitri (10 April 2024)
Muslims believe the sacred month of Ramadan to be the holiest month of the year. It is also one of the biggest cultural events and festivals celebrated here in Singapore. Little known fact: fasting is much more than abstaining from food or drink during daylight hours. Fasting is seen as a commitment to the purification of the soul. This means refraining from bad habits and thoughts. Once you’ve pulled through Ramadan, it’s time to celebrate. Hari Raya Aidilfitri (also called Hari Raya Puasa) is a month-long festival encouraging forgiveness and thanksgiving. Don’t mistake it for the Muslim New Year, though, because it is not!
18. NEW: Be immersed in the Sentosa Sensoryscape
Need to escape the hustle and bustle? There’s a new sensory sanctuary on Sentosa, and we can’t wait to explore. Unwind and relax to the sound of trickling water among the Symphony Streams. Enjoy rich scents of herbs and spices at the Scented Sphere, and take in panoramic views from the Lookout Loop. Make sure you visit at night time to be immersed in the Glow Garden, a fusion of art, nature and technology featuring stunning light displays. There are six different areas to explore in total, each igniting a different sense. Best bit: It’s completely FREE!
19. Snow City transforms into a coloured ice playground
Love to get the kids running around at a playground, but hate the suffocating heat of being outdoors? Snow City has the answer, with Singapore’s largest dyed ice gallery, the Coloured Ice Playground. Recognised by the Singapore Book of Records, snap pics with ice sculptures, try your hand at mini golf on ice, and check out the ice slide. All of this has been created by famed Singaporean artist, Jeffrey Ng. The whole playground took 499 hours of painstaking craftsmanship to create, so it’s well worth a look! Tickets from $25 for two hours of playtime.
20. Harry Potter: The Forbidden Forest Experience now open

Calling all Potterheads! Fancy walking through the Forbidden Forest on the fringes of Hogwarts alongside fellow Muggles? The Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience is an awe-inspiring light trail in the woods of the Coastal Trail on Sentosa Island. Experience iconic scenes from the movies, and get up close with mystical creatures like the Hippogriff, the scary Aragon and many more. Other highlights include tasting the wizarding world beverage Butterbeer and exclusive merchandise from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies at the gift shop. An unforgettable evening lies ahead! Tickets start from $39 for kids and $51 for adults, and are now available for purchase.
21. Cosford Container Park now open near Changi Airport
Good food, good views – Singapore’s largest outdoor F&B container park has now opened! The big draw here is the unparalleled view of the landing strip at Changi Airport, so you can see planes touching down while you bite into a burger! It’s one big Instagram-worthy destination with colourful containers and a bevvy of food vendors for serious foodies to check out.

22. Luge under the stars with this new night time experience

Ready to ride the beat at a brand new night time experience in Sentosa? One of our favourite daredevil activities is given even more of a thrilling edge with the introduction of night luge rides! 23. On sale now! Bluey’s Big Play: The Stage Show
It’s just been announced that Bluey, Bingo, Bandit and Chilli are coming to Singapore this June school holidays! Bluey’s Big Play is a spectacular theatrical adaptation of the Emmy award-winning children’s television series featuring the loveable dog family created by Joe Brumm. Expect new music by Bluey composer, Joff Bush (boy are we obsessed with all those lovely tunes from the TV show!) and brilliantly created puppets bringing the Heeler family to life – for real life!

24. The Gruffalo
‘There’s no such thing as a Gruffalo!’ Os is there? Join Mouse on a daring adventure through the deep, dark wood in this magical, musical adaptation of the beloved picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Searching for hazelnuts, Mouse meets the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and a sly Snake. Will the story of the terrifying Gruffalo save Mouse from ending up as dinner for these hungry woodland creatures? This super fun show is great for kiddos of all ages, but note that everyone needs a ticket for entry (even infants in arms).

25. Peppa Pig’s Adventure live theatre show coming to Singapore in June
Our little piggies are so excited for this one! Peppa Pig’s Adventure is heading to Singapore for the first time this June. See Peppa, George, and pals in a theatrical extravaganza featuring larger-than-life puppets, catchy tunes, and tons of laughter. Don’t miss Peppa’s thrilling camping escapade with George, Pedro Pony, Suzy Sheep, and Gerald Giraffe.
