2. Fire up your imaginations at a new exhibition
Sound the trumpets: Imaginarium, the ultimate interactive children’s museum exhibition, returns this weekend with Imaginarium: to the Ends of the Earth! The exhibition, held at the Singapore Art Museum enlists the help of nine contemporary artists to create immersive, tactile and interactive artworks designed to awaken the inner explorer in children of all ages. This edition focuses on how we see people, flora, and fauna adapt to their ever-changing surroundings.

3. Turn up to a party that’s out of this world
Hold onto your lightsabers, sci-fi fans, Star Wars Day is almost upon us, and Gardens by the Bay is throwing a three-day galactic party to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. Expect lightsaber supertrees, appearances by fave characters including Chewbacca and Kylo Ren, outdoor movie screenings and even a Star Wars family run!

4. Go to Thailand: without leaving Singapore!

5. Make a Mother’s Day gift
Mother’s Day is coming up fast so we think this lovely free workshop is perfect for a spot of Mother’s Day DIY craft. Kids can make a flower out of cupcake wrappers and straws at the Flowers of Love sessions, while also learning all about recycling.

6. Go on a very sweet adventure at Universal Studios Singapore
Did somebody say chocolate? For the sweet-toothed amongst you it doesn’t get more exciting than the confectionery-capers going on over at Universal Studios right now: A Chocolate Adventure has arrived and with it a heap of delicious fun including a Chocolate Garden, Cocoa Hedge Maze, Lollipop Land and the chance to meet-and-greet some super sweet characters.

8. Go on an alfresco cinema date night

Urban kids should flex their green fingers at one of our favourite libraries for kids, Queenstown Public Library, where the whole family are invited to volunteer to help out with gardening activities in its community garden. 10. Catch a fowl theatre performance
There’s a fun musical that’s squawked into town and tots of all ages are going to love it: Poultry Tales is an all-singing, all-dancing collection of classic feathery tales chosen especially for the Year of the Rooster. The Goose That Laid the Golden Eggs, The Little Red Hen and Chicken-Licken will be flapping up a storm in this cracking interactive theatre performance filled with egg-cellent humour and wacky characters.
