With all this wet weather testing our limit when it comes to fun things to do indoors with the kids, we can’t wait for the weekend to roll round and with it, hopefully, some glorious sunshine! We’ve found cute activities for tots at one of our favourite libraries, the perfect workshop for your creative tweens and a great family burger fest as well as heaps of other cool things to do with the kids in Singapore this weekend. 1. Check out Children’s Season Singapore
The National Heritage Board’s annual Children’s Season Singapore has returned with tons of fun cultural and educational experiences lined up, all designed to inspire, engage and educate our small humans. Workshops, storytelling sessions, exhibitions and performances are popping up all over Singapore throughout the June school holidays.

2. Bring the kids to Wonderland
ANDSOFORTH is bringing Alice and her madcap mates to stage in Wonderland: an interactive, heartwarming show aimed at kids age two and above. Don’t expect to be seeing this performance at a run-of-the-mill theatre though: a warehouse has been transformed into an immersive theatre especially for the show!

3. Create a LEGO masterpiece
Master Builders of all ages will love the goings on at the LEGO Cities of Wonder event happening over at Parkway Parade. Kids can expect to immerse themselves in a world filled with colourful bricks, games, challenges and activities all with a LEGO theme.

4. Join in with a global paddle relay
HER Planet Earth and The Wedge Asia are joining forces to bring us Paddle for the Planet: an initiative that will see 40 countries all taking part in a global paddling relay simultaneously! Families (including pets) are invited to head over to Tanjong Beach Club to watch or join in the global paddle as well as take part in fun activities including stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and canoeing.

5. Hang out with Hi5

6. Go on a guided tour of the Singapore Botanic Gardens
Get the whole family into the great outdoors for the Let’s Discover Plants & Animals guided tour where you’ll explore the Botanic Gardens and learn about the local residents such as birds, frogs, squirrels, butterflies, dragonflies, ants and earthworms.

8. Keep your tweens and teens busy at the National Gallery
We love it when we track down events especially for our tweens and teens, so love the look of this one for budding artists age 11-14 years. Kids will learn printmaking techniques from artist Dahlia Osman and then apply newfound skills into creating prints inspired by the work of Chng Seok Tin.
