Ahoy there small shipmates! The Halloween pirates are anchoring their galleon at the S.E.A. Aquarium this October for some swashbuckling fun – Spooky Seas is back! Treasure trails and trick or treat, underwater shows and spooky crafts, storytelling sessions, and songs with a gypsy: This is one frightfully fang-tastic underwater Halloween event the kids are going to love!

Will little ones end up with a trick or a treat? Find out by following Captain Spooks’ Treasure Trail on an awesome adventure through educationally fun challenges all around the aquarium.

Pop along for the 5.30pm sessions and your mini-pirates will get the bonus treat of a song performance by Gypsy and Captain Spooks.

Snap a spooky selfie!
Halloween just isn’t Halloween unless we can snap a photo or ten of our small monsters dressed as pumpkins, witches or ghouls (all good fodder for wheeling out at 18th birthday parties). Deck the kiddos out in their Halloween finest and head to the Ocean Dome or Open Ocean Habitat for fabulous photo ops with Mai the Manta mascot and the spooky skeleton divers.
When: Mai will be appearing at 1pm, 2.45pm, 3.45pm and 5pm at the Ocean Dome. The skeleton divers will be appearing on weekdays at 2.15pm and 4.15pm at the Open Ocean Habitat.
Get crafty with your arty ghouls
With the spooky atmosphere all set around the aquarium, imaginations will be ready to burst, so why not continue the Halloween fun by putting those active minds to good use with some terror-ific craft activities? Head to the craft station at the Open Ocean Habitat to get crafty.
