1. Stork’s Nest Family Sale
This extremely helpful Parenting Support Group are setting up shop and selling some great pre-loved baby goods. There will also be bespoke items available from some Singapore mumpreneurs. A portion of proceeds go to Star PALS.

2. Colour Throwing Festival
Registration to compete in The Colour Run has sold out but you can still join the party afterwards. Wear white and come home covered in colour. Festivities take place in the event village which is located at Beach Station Open Air Car Park. The first wave of runners should return at about 5pm. Kids are welcome.

4. Furniture Expo

5. Sentosa Boardwalk Bazaar
Wander across the boardwalk from Harbourfront to Sentosa and have a shop at the same time. Full of artisans selling handcrafted goods, clothing and even henna body artwork.

6. Singapore Night Festival
When night falls this August, you may find yourselves bumping into strange inanimate objects! Amazing artworks have been scattered around the Bras Basah precinct for the latest installment of the Singapore Night Festival. Don’t miss the performances, workshops and amazing installations.

7. Mid Autumn Festival

10. The Central Fire Station
Each Saturday in the am, you can take the kids down to Hill St in the CBD and visit Singapore’s oldest remaining, and still operational, fire station, The Central Fire Station and The Civil Defence Heritage Museum. Check out the old relics inside the original 1908 building or head outside to ride in a working fire engine and let the kids try their hand at using the high-pressure fire hose!
