Hop in to our new weekly feature for the fun-of-the-moment stuff happening for tiny tots through to teens around Singapore right now...
Our harshest critics here at HoneyKids are our very own team of newborn to teen junior reporters. We love taking them around town to try out the indoor play spots, pop-up events, outdoor adventures and hits-of-the-moment here in Singapore, so we thought it would be fun (and useful) to highlight what they’re loving right now when it comes to action-packed kid stuff around the island. From the mouths of babes, here’s what’s hot if you’re a kid…
1. For a movie blockbuster that has great male AND female leads (a kick ass girl with zero romantic simpering: hurrah!) our kids can’t get enough of Disney’s Cars 3 .
2. We recently spent not one, not two, and not even three but FOUR happy hours mesmerised by The Glass Rotunda exhibition happening at The National Museum of Singapore. Guaranteed wet-day winner.
3. Wild Wild Wet just got a HUGE facelift and a ton more watery thrills ‘n’ spills. We had a blast there watching our teenager ace the (frankly) terrifying Free Fall slide.
4. Have you checked out the new Tampines Regional Library yet? It just got a new location at Our Tampines Hub and a major overhaul. With five floors to explore this is the stuff that bookworm’s dreams are made of.
5. Lights! Camera! Action! Sing Theatre had our five year old mini thesp over recently to try out the Rising Stars workshop aimed at four to six year olds. It’s definitely put him on the right path for a stint on the stage! The new term starts soon folks!
