Don’t panic, people: we have the ultimate guide to help navigate your kid’s cries of boredom and meltdown moments (and keep you sane over those long months of school break): Summer camp 2017! We’ve found cool courses, classes and workshops for all types of kids, from all-rounder programs to camps that are big on sport and aventure, great for little ones into drama or dance, or young budding artists. Catering to kids from three to 16 years, Camp Asia is the summer camp boss when it comes to its impressive range of activities. Budding athletes can burn off some energy at the Super Sports or Super Soccer Camps while buzzing minds should get busy with some cool experimenting at the Mad World of Science, Math Mania and Tech Savvy camps. Mini-thespians can tread the boards at The Drama Academy, and future artists can hone their creative skills at the Passion for Art camp. Village Day Camps
For an all-singing, all-dancing kinda summer camp it doesn’t get better than the five-day Village Day Camps at UWCSEA. A mini program is on offer for four to six year olds; kids age seven to nine years can sign up for the junior program; and older kids age 10 to 13 years can join the senior camp. Each age group will take part in a huge range of six daily activities (chosen according to age by the group counsellors) which are guaranteed to keep minds and bodies busy. Expect fun choices such as orienteering, gymnastics, ceramic painting, hiking, music, rope course and even frisbee – plus, of course, singing and dancing. Sign us up!
