A trip to the Thousand Islands
Need a break from city life? Pulau Seribu (Thousand Islands) is perfect for a day trip or weekend getaway. Just a stone’s throw away from bustling Jakarta, you’ll be treated to palm-fringed islands, white sandy beaches, and clear blue waters.
Pulau Bidadari
Just a mere 30 minutes by speedboat and you’ll find yourself on Pulau Bidadari. Its close proximity to Jakarta makes it ideal for a day trip. Once you arrive, find yourself the perfect spot to soak in the sun and enjoy the view of the city skyline from a different angle. Note: Ferries leave from Marina Ancol at 11am and return from Bidadari at 6pm. Your ticket includes return ferry ride and lunch (simple Indonesian fare, buffet style). We recommend packing a picnic and bringing your own drinks.

Note: The further away you are from the city, the bluer, cleaner, and more peaceful the water and islands are.
