Mini fans of the immensely successful How to Train Your Dragon won’t be disappointed with the highly anticipated sequel. Hiccup and the Vikings are back with their loveable dragons to fight insane conqueror Drago. Be prepared to be thrilled, awed, and possibly moved to tears in this touching adventure. Psst… it’s been confirmed that it’ll be released as a trilogy!
The classic tale of sleeping beauty is given a unique spin in this version, with audiences getting a perspective from the princess’s evil nemesis Maleficient. Angelina Jolie impresses as (look at those cheekbones!), Maleficent, and injects a human element into the misunderstood villain.
And then there’s the epic battle between Autobots and Decepticons that will keep kids on the edge of their seats… Set four years after Transformers: Battle of the Moon, Transformers: Age of Extinction boasts a brand new cast, led by Mark Wahlberg, who joins forces with the Autobots to stop an ancient, powerful Transformer menace. We got a sneak peak last week and it was pretty awesome. Just be aware that there are a few expletives and gratuitous shots of the teenage girl who plays Marky Mark’s daughter. Best for kids over 13 probably.
