Hello, people with kids in Singapore. Kids who need educating. Kids who need educating at an international school, because it’s either too tough to get into a local school or local schools just aren’t your thing (no judgement here!). Other than using the very handy HoneyKids School Selector, how do you go about finding the right international school? You hit the internet, you hit the streets, and you lose hours – if not days – visiting schools, sending emails, making phone calls, and scouring online forums to work out which is ‘the one’ for the most important little people in your world.
For the first time ever, and because we’re a helpful bunch, we here at HoneyKids have partnered up with HSBC to bring the best international schools in Singapore together in one room. In this magical room you’ll be able to fire all your burning questions at the principals and admissions staff from 20 different schools – YES, 20 SCHOOLS IN ONE ROOM! This is news worthy of getting shouty about. AND IT’S FREE!
And because sometimes, you forget half the questions you planned to ask (like what does it really cost?), or you don’t even know what questions you should ask, we’re also putting on seven talks to help you cover your bases. Principals and experts will discuss topics such as how to pick a school, the various curriculums to choose from, being bilingual, early years education, and more.
Once you’ve got the scoop on schools, our friends at HSBC – the bank for global citizens – will keep the kids happy with a super cool activity: The MOSH! Experience. If you’ve ever been to MOSH! (we have, and we loved it) you’ll know how much fun it is for the kids to see their very own drawings come to life on the big screen, and there may even be a little role play – so your kids’ education and career plans will be sorted by the time you go home. Parents and kids will also get to grab a goody bag from the HSBC team, and have the chance to win a staycation & many other prizes!
Did we mention this conveniently-packaged-and-tied-up-in-a-bow event is completely free? But you’ll need to RSVP below to be sure of your spot on the day. If you’re keen to hear the talks, just register when you arrive, but get in early as the talks are first come, first served!
Grab your school bag, your notebook and pen, and get yourself educated on education in Singapore. But don’t forget to RSVP below first.
