No question is a silly question when it comes to the minefield of parenting a tiny person. Come meet our baby experts at the next HoneyKids Bumps and Babies x Stork's Nest Singapore Dream Team Talk!
So you read all the pregnancy and parenting books, brought your baby into the world beautifully (you didn’t shout and swear at all, right?), and now you have your bundle of joy firmly in your arms (generally ALL of the time). But whether you’re a first-time mum in Singapore or a seasoned pro, babies have a knack of leaving us constantly fretting about everything from vaccinations to fevers, weaning dos and don’ts, finding a great paediatrician to first aid panics during the early months. The good news is that you’re far from alone! Bumps and Babies is the new baby sister of the Honeycombers family, and we’re always here with great reads (perfect for the midnight feeding shift), expert advice and awesome tips to help you along your motherhood journey.
We’ve also partnered up with the amazing parenting support group, Stork’s Nest Singapore, to host a series of invaluable events to cover all those niggling questions that keep you awake in the small hours (if you’re not up already rocking baby to sleep). We’re super proud to reveal the second fun, free and informative event of the series: Dream Team Talks – The Infancy Stage, happening on Saturday 19 July at Pan Pacific Services Suites Orchard. Everyone is invited – babies and all!
Really useful advice
Mark your diaries, parents, and arm yourself with essential knowledge that will help you take great care of your 0-9 month old tot: 19 July is the date you need to put in a big red circle on the calendar for the Dream Team Talks – The Infancy Stage. Join us, Stork’s Nest Singapore and our key speakers for first aid demos and talks on weaning, fevers, vaccinations and more, plus the chance to ask your own questions at this informal and super-helpful session.
You’ll hear from Rebecca Woods, First Aid Officer at Mother & Child and Dr. Monika Tasani, of International Medical Clinic, on everything from how to keep a baby safe, to what to do in an emergency first aid situation, what vaccinations you should be getting for your baby or how to deal with high fevers in infants.
The good news doesn’t end there either: as well as our fabulous guest speakers, New Mother’s Support Group will also be on hand with more info on their services, activities and membership, Box Green will be feeding us all with delicious treats, Oriole Coffee + Bar is extending a 10% discount on its a la carte menu for all guests, Bambino has provided a gorgeous giveaway hamper jam-packed with sleeping bags and other goodies up for grabs in a prize draw on the day and Pan Pacific Services Suites Orchard is providing the tea and coffee. This is also a child and baby-friendly event, so feel free to make it a family outing: little ones will love the sensory play area we have lined up!
