This weekend is so full of awesome we really aren’t sure where to start. From mega inflatables to parent-child workshops, camping like a soldier to a field full of fun, we know that we are going to have some very tired kiddos come Sunday evening. 1. Take part in the biggest outdoor family party of the year
Aviva Superfundae – Singapore’s largest outdoor party for the family – is hitting Gardens by the Bay with more than 30 games and activities sprawled across open play space, in five thematically-designed fun zones – Circus Centre, Speedy Zone, Dream Castle, Pirate Island, and Jungle World. 2. Have a mega amount of fun at Sentosa
Make a beeline to Sentosa for the amazeballs Mega Fun Fest. Back bigger and better than ever, you’ll find giant inflatables, foam pools, a resident bubbleolgist, a crazy evening light show at the Merlion and tons more. Finish off the weekend with a family-friendly flick at Palawan beach. Full on fun.

3. Be a soldier for a day
The ongoing activities for families as part of the Children’s Season continue this weekend with a cool drop in activity happening at the Army Museum of Singapore. Pop along to the Be a Solider fun where you’ll find out all about different of soldiers – and even dress up as one!

4. Go camping in a museum
Continue the Forces fun by going on an overnight adventure: you’ll learn to build your own ‘basha’ tent, try your hand at field cooking, go on a confidence walk and spend the night pretending to be real SAF soldiers as part of the Night@Arms camp.

5. Catch the dazzling lights at the Geylang Serai Baazar
We’re now in the full swing of Ramadan, and we love heading to Geylang Serai Baazar which plays host to a dazzling light display, lasting for the whole month. The lights are already switched on, and you can catch the colours from 7pm each night. This year’s theme is ‘Deepening our Kampung Spirit’, which is all about coming together – no matter your background – to appreciate this special time and local culture. There will be weekend performances from Fridays to Sundays throughout the month of June at the Kampung House: check in on the Our Kampung Spirit Facebook page for updates on what’s on and when.

6. Bring the kids to a puppet show
Veteran puppeteer, Christopher Chow Pak Hong, is bringing two great stories to life over at Queenstown Public Library with his fabulous puppet skills. Kids will love seeing Who Can Call the Sun? and The Three Evils brought to life, and don’t forget to try your hand at working the puppets for yourselves after the performance.

7. Join a trio of friends on a magical stage adventure
Head to the Esplanade for a lovely performance of Peter and Blue where smaller kids will be enthralled by this fairytale full of adventure. Join Peter, his dog, Blue, and his cat, Calico on a journey of magical discovery. Kids will get the chance to meet the dancers for meet-and-greet sessions after each performance.

8. Head to Pulau Ubin for a free drawing workshop and competition
On My Canvas are running a great workshop for kiddos 12 and below to focus on learning how to draw animals and local scenery around Pulau Ubin. This fun, free activity is part of the hugely popular annual Pesta Ubin Festival. Check out its website to keep on top of all the awesome activities happening until 11 June.

9. Stock up on fresh goodies at a Farmers’ Market
It’s Farmers’ Market at Loewen Gardens time again and we can’t wait to pick up some fresh foods, artisanal goods and, of course, a heavenly slice of cake from The Pantry. Expect kids’ activities too!

10. Teach your kids to love nature
Join this interactive parent-child workshop which includes some seriously cool art and craft fun plus a short nature appreciation walk. The I heART Nature Workshop is aimed at kiddos age 5-7, but you’ll need to sign up quick for this ever-popular free activity.
